Congratulations on your family's journey to be a part of the Catholic family.
I am a convert and was confirmed in 1987. I believe that the RCIA requires a Catholic Sponsor. I had one. The local Parish and diocese should be able to meet with you and provide someone to guide your family on the initiation. The time that is required for entry is about one year which usually culminates around Holy Thursday.
God bless your family and welcome to your new journey of Faith !
