Anyway, the reason Coach O's record isn't spectacular is like Coach Charlie Strong, Coach O agreed to take on the task of rebuilding the Ole Miss football program after it had been decimated via bad recruiting for years by his predecessor Coach Cutcliffe. As the Ole Miss administration had for several years tried to get Coach Cutcliffe to improve his recruiting. Thus, when the inevitable finally happened and Coach Cutcliffe had his first losing season, unlike most coaches that had been at a university for some time with a winning record, Coach Cutcliffe was fired the very first season it happened because the Ole Miss administration had been trying for years to get him to improve his recruiting before it was finally too late, and they also knew that Coach Cutcliffe would never be able to rebuild the program not the way he had been recruiting and so they fired him citing poor recruiting as the primary cause for termination and hired Coach O to rebuild the program.

OM hired Cut to get Eli. Once he served his purpose, they got rid of him first chance they had.

The O hire was ridiculed throughout college football. We laughed at OM for it.

As far as an empty cupboard, even Gerry Dinardo had a winning season right away, and that was after four years of Curley.

So, in other words, you are just a low-information O hater. Okay, no big deal to me.
