You can avoid wasting an entire day by getting the price agreed upon before you show up. That won't stop them from trying to screw you over. You still need to be prepared to walk away.

I spent roughly a week between counter-offering Park Place and Sewell Lexus when I was buying my RC 350 F Sport.
I ended up with a great deal. $4000 off plus Lexus cash and I did my own financing.
