It takes a master salesman to close a sale where he honestly sets the initial anchor at his rock bottom price.

Wasn't it J.C. Penneys that once tried to change their model to get rid of sales, coupons, discounts, etc? It was an utter failure. The majority of the population is too lazy (and stupid if I'm not playing nice nice) to realize when they are getting a good deal.

Although it isn't my style, the mark it up to mark it down game is the most profitable.
