Exactly. I spent 4 months in New Hampshire working and thought that it sucked. I would never live there. Same goes for NYC. I lived in Manhattan for a year in 1999-2000. It was fun in my early to mid 20s but I can't think of a place I'd rather live less than there at 41 with 2 kids.

In fairness, the rest of New England thinks New Hampshire is a shithole too.

I get that. I love going to NYC for a few days and working there on and off, but it's not really a place I'd want to live.
