I know this is splatoon 2 thread, but last night my 6 year old beat the single player campaign of Splatoon 1. He was so dang hyped after he beat it bc he died a lot trying. I was there while he did and was giving out lots of high fives when he cheered after beating it. 
The game was great for preparing him for twitch reaction skills and in general how FPS works..He can legit beat me when we play head to head and that is when I knew I was an old man .

This is good stuff man. Your kid will remember that for the rest of his life.
I can't wait until we have children. Currently trying right now.
