nobody is having to deliver dramatic speeches or anything. It's really just a good ensemble performance.
So it's not Exposition: The Movie ala Inception? Great news.
Prob go see it tonight

No. Very little dialogue. Visuals and the score tell so much of the story.
I can see how someone would say it isn't their favorite Nolan film. I love Nolan for attempting ambitious things. Love the uniqueness of Memento, Interstellar, Inception. I can see how someone would enjoy one of those experiences, despite the flaws, more if they connect with it in some way.
But I would definitely argue this is his BEST work because it doesn't get dragged down by dialogue. The characters didn't have to be super strong and well developed for you to root for them to get out. It's only about 1:50, so it doesn't seem to drag in places like his other films seem to do. I thought the pacing was much better here than some of his others. He basically did more of what he's good at and less of what he's bad at.
Obviously a lot of stuff still has to come out, but I'd be shocked if there's someone who tops this score.

That is correct
People always say in a movie "don't tell me, show me". And this movie does just that
