How so? I don't usually buy bday gifts for friends unless they are really close friends. I've gone out/dinner to celebrate someone's bday several times and never once did I buy a gift. I wasn't the only one who didn't bring a gift as well.
And when I've told friends "hey I'm going to such and such to celebrate my bday, hope you can come" I'm not expecting a gift at all.

Again, I don't hate the girl. She's a nice chick that is always fun to be around. I just saw this on fb today, rolled my eyes at it...and figured it would make for interesting discussion on here.
