Just buy a shitty one and plan to replace it periodically. frankly, you will only use it a couple of months of the year due to the weather/mosquitos, so it will probably last a pretty good while if you bring it inside during the off seasons.

I would be hesitant to build anything too robust to protect it, as it has to have pretty good airflow to keep it cool. TV's made for outdoors are ridiculously expensive.
