I'm going to Destin in late September and want to daytrip to either Topsail park or Grayton. Grayton seems more kid friendly- less walking - with a 2 year old. Be sure to report back your experience after your trip!

Wait, what? Without a pass to park on the beach Grayton is a helluva walk...with super deep sand. It's a great spot for a 2 yo, due to the dune lake creating shallow swimming spots, but damn you'll walk your arse off.
Parking is fricked up, well since there really is none, but you may get lucky.
