I cant understand the Etling hate. Here's a guy that becomes the starter in game 3 during the season and plays pretty well. Its funny how we all give coach O a break for going 6-2, because he took over after game 4 but hate on this young man.
He was inconsistent last year, but most QB's in their first year in the SEC are.
He kept us in every game and did not make the big mistake or turn it over on downs during the 2 minute drill against both Auburn on the road and Florida. If LSu wins either, probably wouldve went to the Sugar Bowl.

Had us in the end zone on a 2 minute drill at Auburn and on the 1 yard line against Fla. Played well in the bowl game.

Is he a top 5 QB in the SEC? Maybe, maybe not, but he's better than most. And thats a nice change for LSU at the position.
