That's the one thing I missed about moving back to LA from TX.
While it's far more convenient to buy the basics, they just don't have near the selection in even the stores that specialize in beverages.

I really only drink beer and wine so don't really effect me and I like going to spec or total wine. It is super nice to be able to get flask in gas station for sporting event though.
But The 12am Sunday law is retarded. Always kills me on Sunday mornings when I am buying stuff to cook for week and/or Sunday night
