I think the microphones have to go. One discussion, that didn't need to even occur was a call at first base. Our overzealous crew chief (2nd base) asked every other ump if they saw the play, obviously trying to look and sound professional for the cameras. There's an ump at first for a reason, no need to try and overrule with umps from different angles. Then the "Boom!" Call when Kramer got called out at the plate. Boom? Really? Tell me TV didn't have something to do with that.
