I said the same thing last week and got blasted for it. If Florida won on Friday this board would be going nuts right now that it's not fair Faedo would be able to pitch game one.
Personally regardless of the teams I think for the championship series both teams should be at full rest. I think it could be done in the same time frame as the 12 days the CWS is now. There should be 2-3 games played a day instead of the one day this bracket plays and the next day this bracket plays. We had one game Wed. and Thurs. of last week.
There is just one problem that is the reason for this mess. TV ratings and they trump all other decisions. Spread the games out where more games are played only in the weekday afternoons to fill low viewership time for sports.

I don't think anyone would have said that was unfair. It would suck, but had they won, they took care of business and LSU didn't.
They also had a day less rest. They played
Sunday-Tuesday-Friday-Saturday
LSU played
Saturday-Monday-Wednesday-Friday-Saturday
If they'd have played the Saturday and pitched Faedo Friday, they could have won Friday and still had Faedo back Wednesday same as Lange.
