While he is likely guilty, we are a country of laws, one of the key ones being "innocent until proven guilty." While I am fine with police using necessary force to subdue a suspect, it is completely unacceptable to assume guilt and carry out the potential punishment of execution before seeing the inside of a courtroom. This is not the Philappines. Some of you guys cause me concern about the future of this country.

You know what causes me concern for this country - a teenager who admittedly shot an officer in the back and killed him (because he didn't want to get caught with a gun since he was on probation) pleading not guilty by way of insanity due to lead poisoning rather than taking responsibility for what he did.

Funny, this lawsuit and the potential for it to be settled out of court and a cop killed potentially getting money for his crime is what concerns me about the future of this country.
