Wiggins stats make him seem way better than he is, though.

He has a negative VORP, and his PER was 16.5 last year, which is basically average. He was 93rd in PER.


He is still young and can develop, but 3 years isn't really a small sample size. He is very inconsistent, and not good defensively.

Wiggins is effectively the third option now. So we will see how that changed his overall performance.

Also the Wolves can easily bring in another big name with their cap/roster situation.
