That ping is laminated, I believe ... don't think they made a persimmon ... wonder how much more loft those irons have than today's ... might want to research the best ball for those woods ... laminated didn't crack as often as persimmon, but I don't know what today's balls would do on that face ...

I don't think it's laminated. You can feel the texture of the wood throughout the head. I could be wrong though
