Has our society become so authoritarian that we blame the kid who was trying to assist the officer by subduing his pet for said officer shooting him? A couple of days ago, I tongue-in-cheek commented that we have gotten to the point where, short of killing a baby, on-duty cops in this country cannot be convicted of anything in relation to the use of force. But comments like this reinforce this opinion as reality.

Speaking from experience, pepper spray works wonders on dogs.

On the OT, yes. Cop is allowed to use deadly force for anything they even slightly perceive to be a danger to them, reasonable or not.

Instead of passing judgement on either party young boy or cop. We wait for the footage of everyone. But regardless. Sucks for the child to have lost his life. God bless everyone involved.
