This seems odd. I can't imagine that a shitload of people just decided to start smoking weed just because it became legal. Seems like they were probably already getting high and driving.

I'd bet there are some other mitigating factors here. I wish the Feds would honor the constitution and let states have some power like our founding fathers wanted.

Boulder population has increased 10% from 2010-2016.
Legalized in 2013, so not far off when you account for tourists & passer-thrus adding to the # of drivers on the road to nearly match that 14% stat

Boulder increase
States population increasss

Does not appear to be a drastic correlation at all when factoring these variables
