re: New York Summer family vacation ideas

in the city for a week, in the summer, might not work, IMO. I would consider adding another leg to the trip or at least an overnight somewhere else. There is a lot to do with a family in the city, but the stress involved in doing it for a week, might not be the greatest. Your kids might get bored as well.

Maybe Philly, DC or Boston added? or even add some lake time upstate.
