The popularity of the sport is spreading even more in Asia.
It was always popular in Japan and then Korea
Now you can include Taiwan and Mainland China.
Taiwan for sure. Mainland China took to basketball much more than baseball but still baseball has pockets of popularity

Now you can include Taiwan? Not to beat a dead horse but most of Asia has long been into baseball including Taiwan.
Japan introduced baseball to Taiwan in 1895 when they occupied it.
Remember all those LLWS Titles Taiwan won in the 1970's and 80's dominating everyone in the US?
