KD made the right choice for himself.

However, it fricked with the competitive balance of the NBA (see the playoffs). That's where, personally, it starts and stops. And hate is a strong word

What competitive balance? The Cavs and Warriors were in the finals the 2 years prior to that and even if KD hadn't gone to GS, they would have just re-signed their guys and still won the title again

Yep. He robbed us of an epic Western Conference playoffs and Finals.

Personally, I'm fine with him the decision.

I agree KD made the right choice for himself and I have no problem with his move I liked it myself. But he didn't frick up the competitive balance because it isn't any.
Since 1980 Lakers , Celtics, bulls, warriors, spurs, rockets, pistons , cavs, heat all have won multiple championships. The mavs and 76ers snuck one in also.
