Yes it can be. Myriad is also a noun.

Correct: myriad can be a noun or an adjective. But it would not be followed with "of." One can have myriad responses or a myriad of responses, but never merely myriad of responses.

As an academic, I can say other academics -- particularly from the Northeast -- look down upon an LSU degree. But, having taught several thousand post-doctoral students over nearly four decades, I've found LSU graduates perform exceedingly well. They frequently rank near the top of our graduate tax program. Students, even high-ranking students, from more "elite" schools often perform less well.

I wear my LSU degrees proudly and keep much LSU memorabilia in my office. But I must continuously correct colleagues on two significant issues. First, Louisiana is much more than New Orleans. Second, our civil law legal system is far superior to their common law system. I doubt I have convinced most; however, I have convinced them our food is better, we have more fun, and we appear more likely to help each other in a disaster than do people in many other states.
