re: What does the nation outside of Louisiana say about LSU?

LSU is always a conversation starter. The execs are intrigued by the southern accent, and of course they know our Football team. Because of LSU, the CFO of my company and I are friends. He went to Tulane and later Harvard, and is a Notre Dame fan. My boss points out that the CFO never comes to talk to him, only me, about college football.

I got an accounting degree at LSU, a good business school. While I learned everything I know in LA, the pay was shite. I work for a NE company, who moved down South, and doubled my pay. While I will always be a LA girl at heart, I will never go back.

That being said, I work with a lot of NE people, and they have no clue about college athletics. As stated previously, it is all about pro sports. They just don't get it.
