LA's cap space is mightily attractive compared to Cleveland

If he made that move, and I were a GM, I wouldn't want anything to do with him. I mean Cleveland has basically destroyed they're money for the next IDK how many years after he leaves. They're gonna be in the lottery the year after he does.

Is the short term success worth financial ruin for the years after? That's the question I'd have to ask as a franchise or GM

I think most teams would take 3 straight Finals trips and Championship. And I disagree that they'd be in financial ruin for years. They'd only have one year after he left in this scenario where they'd be in a tough cap spot. After that they'd only have Kyrie, TT & JR under contract if they didn't make any moves (Love has a PO).

Wait, you're saying if you were Cleveland 3 years ago, you wouldn't have made that move?
