A heads up, there are some really good seats on stubhub for cheap. Bummed I'm missing it, silversun are great live and I've always wanted to see TEB.

Silversun Pickups was solid, if unspectacular. Their energy was a little inconsistent, but their sound was crisp. Overall a nice appetizer.
3EB was excellent. I saw them in a festival setting over a decade ago, and Jenkins' voice was total garbage. Awful. He has obviously taken steps to improve his live delivery, whether lifestyle changes, vocal coach, etc.
With that said, his voice was spot on the entire show, and his energy was high to start and never dwindled. His current backing musicians are capable but basically window dressing for his performance, which was augmented by a cool stage setup and lighting display.
They played their debut, self-titled album in its entirety - what an underrated gem of 90s pop rock. Jenkins is a great songwriter and lyricist, which I think is undeniable whether you like 3EB or not. Jenkins obviously still loves those songs, because he was engaged and enthusiastic the entire time.
I actually preferred this show to their HOB appearance a few years back. All in all, a very enjoyable show, aside from the $9 beers (of which I had many).
