Capital One Venture for most purchases and to earn miles
Capital One Journey as back up, was my first card when I had no credit. May cancel it and get a Target card though.
I get people not wanting debt, but if you spend responsibly I don't see how or why you wouldn't want a credit card. Free plane tickets are awesome.
