I know many love the talicas in all sizes. For closer in i like my Calcutta 700s and 400s for cobia and snapper but some prefer a good spinning reel because of the smooth drag.

I think we will try to go spinning setups and fish lighter lines 30lbs leaders to try and coax some fish out of the hard fished reefs.
