I think you nailed it.

Until we have DOMINANT OL talent and depth again, we may find ourselves continuing to come up short.

What? For the last 4-5 years lsu has had a top 10 oline in cfb.
Teams knew we couldn't throw the ball well and we still ran all over them.

While the 2015 oline wasnt great in pass protection they were so dominant at run blocking that they have been ranked top 10 by pro football focus.

Last year we had the most olineman to be named all sec ,in the sec.
We had a Remington award finalist at center.
