If everyone had guns, not necessarily. When no one but the bad guys have guns, there certainly will be a ton of casualties. But you can't argue that the bomb was as effective if not more so than a gun.

But that's beside the point. The left doesn't care about truck violence because it doesn't fit the narrative. There are no marches against Islam (or even "radical" Islam) because they love Muslims for some reason. I guarantee you that if the terrorists pledged allegiance to the Pope, the left would be marching against Christianity.
