It's not a gothca, it's an example of misuse of funds. Do you think such a reallocation couldn't or would not happen with the $.17 (+3%/4yrs)/gallon bill that was just killed?

The problem with your argument is this: it's not a misuse of the funds according to the state constitution.

It's bullshite that Jindal gave it to them so they could have across the board payraises, but the money was allocated to be used by the state police to help their budget.

I believe this new tax labeled exactly what the money could be used for and not go into that fund.

Any money above the old rate was earmarked only for infrastructure spending.
