2012 was also the year he played through an injury.

On the other topic, Snead is an ERFA and only required a minimum tender. Next year he is a RFA and likely gets the second round tender. Next year is when he gets his extension. He'll sign his ERFA tender and go about business this year.

There was no other minimum tender player that was upset. Coleman was one of the others and he signed his already (as have all the others iirc).

As for next year's FAs, the big UFAs are Brees, Vaccaro, and Ellerbe (and given all the investments made at LB Ellerbe may not be a target).

Snead and Breaux are RFAs both likely to get the second round tender, which likely turns into long term extensions.

Everyone else, iirc, will be worth $2 mil or less on the market.

well I get that they were only "required" to offer a minimum tender, but my point was he sure as hell earned the right to be treated better then saying we are taking advantage of you because we can, and wait till next year to get paid "only because we have to" then we might pay you for the skill and contributions you have shown on the field.

its just like the strief situation, both are playing better then they are getting paid to, but strief gets paid yet they tell snead
