Actually doing nothing is in her best political interest. If the Feds had charged them she could say how right this was. It didn't, so she can claim outrage and no control. If the state prosecutes or not the same. But if she forces the chief of police she gets the blame of the lawsuits and feeds red meat to her opponents.

She should just sit quiet and hope it passes. Failing that she should claim outrage and embrace the I don't control anything role.

But I think she is full of reactionary racist outrage and wants the white boys fired no matter the costs.
