I am going to try and ease in and out of here with out reading spoilers but I have a burning question concerning episode two. Would't they be able to establish that the cop had been dead longer than a few minutes due to the temperature of the body? That would disprove Kevin's entire story.

*****Spoilers*****
Also bugged me that the defense for Eric just threw in the towel after Sally's testimony. Any attorney worth a damn would have checked her story. How hard would it have been to determine her father never went to jail and prove she was lying on the stand?
