It could have been you that was born lazy and dim-witted, into a situation with no kind of support or family structure to impress upon you the value and dignity of hard work. Then it would have been you living by means which you did not work for.

The fact that it is not is simply your good luck and their bad. Why should prosperity and happiness be determined by mere chance at birth?

Even if that is the case you can go about life and be self sustaining. Perfect example. I know a black lady that is in her mid 40s, single with no kids and has 20k in the bank. She works two jobs making $11 or so at one and $8.50 at the other. She isn't very bright, but she makes decisions that are in her best interest.
