re: Is there really an "underground" gay male scene amongst the young professionals in BR?

All my gay BR friends moved to LA or NYC, they actually did well with girls in BR, or we thought. I've found that most gays just would rather stay in the closet than deal with the family bs of being gay around here. I've got nothing against them, and actually wish they would've come out here so we could still be good friends but they seem to leave to feel protected.
