New Orleans is doomed by its demographics and has been for 60 years. When the majority of your electorate is uneducated and uninformed, they'll just keep voting whichever crooked politician tells them the biggest lie they want to hear that election cycle. I saw it first hand when I lived there and all we're seeing is the continuation of the death spiral.
Let that syphilitic whore of a city rot and die. Baton Rouge isn't far behind.
