He has great instincts, so if you simplify what he has to do, he can provide that extra half second to turn those pressures into sacks, which we apparently had a lot of last year.

The biggest thing is not giving up quick throws. We really didn't have a choice last year. We had to play a lot of zone and off coverage because of injuries. We'll be a lot more aggressive this year.

Great post.

And I think he has a good chance to "start" this year, being one of the 3 safeties we employ often.

Bush and Bell are more "deep" SS, while Vaccaro is more box/nickel, so with Byrd gone there is a big hole at FS, playing that single high Allen likes to employ.

And apparently Williams was picking up things very quickly, which means he is very likely to see significant playing time if he learns the playbook. That's THE biggest thing for rookies aside from physical ability. If you don't know your assignment the coach won't trust you on the field.

This really could be the sneaky best pick of the draft, and I'm super high on Lattimore and very high on Ramcyzk and Kamara.

If Breaux comes back to his 2015 form or better, this should be our best secondary since 2009 (though 2013 was no slouch), potentially even better.
