I haven't seen it, but at the rate the board is melting I could have easily missed it.
My understanding is that so far everything is anonymous sources or reports of a memo Comey wrote to himself which no one else has seen.
Can anyone link me to proof of wrongdoing by Trump, or is this all political grandstanding?
This is a light weight take. First of all you're completely wrong about only Comey seeing the memos. You're ignoring that various news organizations (including Fox News) have all now confirmed that the memos exist. I believe the initial report from yesterday confirmed that Comey advised FBI associates about these comments from Trump when they occurred.
Presumably Comey will testify before Congress and offer testimony to support the content in the memo(s). At that point, it will be Comey's word against Trump's word. There is no way an objective and non hack person could ever take Trump's word given his history (crowd size, wiretaps, Obama birth certificate) over Comey's. I'm sure some on here will rationalize their way to doing that. But that is nothing more than blatantly partisan team sports mentality.
And as for your "anonymous sources" comment, I assume you realize that many major stories in history have been broken via anonymous sources. Watergate itself was broken by "anonymous sources."
It's also worth pointing out that the same New York Times reporter who broke this story is the same reporter that broke the Clinton email story. But from your post, I assume you chose to believe the Clinton email story from the outset b/c it supported your agenda and pre-determined opinions on all things Clinton and Trump.
