I'd spend roughly $50 at the bar and then buy a bottle of Turkey and a six pack on the way home.

One of the benefits of being sober is I don't give a frick about getting pulled over. I know that's bad, but I would laugh at JUST getting a speeding ticket. You mean it's only $180. That's it. No probation. No classes. No drug testing. Cool. Here, take $360. I'll pay for the guy behind me in line.

Congrats, man. Fear not about the troubles with social life. The same resolve it takes to quit booze will take you even farther socially. It really is an attitude that will benefit you in all things. It's a completely new beginning. Best of luck.

Oh trust me, how much money and time was wasted. The first time around I didn't want to listen. I said to myself I wasn't like them, I was in control. How wrong I was.
