re: Ways to make extra money during the summer?

If you like/have a past in baseball umpiring is the way to go. I used to do it during the day on weekends at the beginning of college. It was nothing for me to umpire 3 games @ 40/hr. Then I'd go home, shower, and work my shift at the bar from 7p-2a.

There were some Fridays and Saturdays that I made 400-500 in one day from umping games all day and having a great shift at night.

Of course when that I happened I would be the a-hole at the bar on a Tuesday with a $300 tab. If only I could be that young and dumb again.
