You celebrate his whole catalog. We get it.

John Legend is a delusional celeb who understands the real world less than the average overpass bum.

But, he graduated HS at 16 as Salutatorian, full ride offer to Georgetown, got into Harvard and Penn, graduated from Penn, headhunted by big consulting firm in Boston, where he worked on his music at night to become a world famous song writer and pianist.
So fricking what. Sheila Jackson Lee went to Yale and UVA and she's a complete retard. There are certain actions people of certain groups can take to get them in to certain schools...

I really don't
I just hate when people think people are dumb because they disagree with them. Its a huge pet peeve of mine.
I do think he's a solid musician though. I don't have any thing of his on my spotify playlists though.

You can list all of the accomplishments you want. deGrasse Tyson is a moron outside of his fields of speciality yet acts like the end-all for any discussion about any topic. He's stupid and he's a jackass.
That's my opinion so do whatever you want with it.
What he says is stupid. The way he thinks is stupid. His ideas and opinions are stupid. Therefore, I think he's stupid. I don't care what his educational background is. He's not immune from being stupid just because he has a degree from Penn.
It's an opinion. You can think he's brilliant all you want. You're telling me not to call him stupid because I disagree with him but then disagree with my opinion and say I'm not qualified to call him stupid.

And I don't disagree with this really. He's probably very out of touch with reality when it comes to social policy.

He can be a genius in other areas and still be a complete dumbass when it comes to politics. Why is it so hard for people to understand that studying your arse off and being talented in some areas...doesn't make you talented in every single area? The best example is Ben Carson, who is one of the best surgeons on the planet and has all kinds of educational and professional accolades, but has a political IQ of about 60.

Yes. And he speaks about it like he understands it. He's stupid.
See how this works?

One can have a genius intellect and STILL be an idiot. I know some smart motherfkers that have about as much sense as a garbage can.

What does any of that do to consider himself intelligent on political topics?
He's never lived in "our" world.
I suspect many academics and gifted musicians are somewhat autistic and really only understand one thing really well.

Typical.....that's the media narrative. Obama was a super genius, right?!? Where's his transcripts? He was supposedly a "constitutional lawyer" but seemed pretty ignorant of the law.
