Per 36 he's averaging more than 1 ppg better. He's averaging more points in less minutes.

And he's averaging more points and better 2pt fg% and better efg% in the same season comparing against 5+ previous seasons cherry-picked. That's significant.

And of course he's the "same player" as a guy doesn't just magically get better.

My point is the style of play maximizes the ability he already had.
