Find a Dr who will let you do it yourself. My Drs office had an allergy clinic in it for a while and I went and got tested and learned to give myself the shots. It was much more convenient and definitely helped me. The clinic closed, but not before I finished. I've heard there are a few allergy docs in BR that allow you to do the shots yourself. They teach you how to do it and you go in the first few times, but once they feel you have gotten the hang of it, all you do is go in and get your med and Rx refill for the syringes.
