You missed the part about not being trained to do that particular job. They committed several OSHA violations during the removal. Also, their statement confirms they actively took part in the removal vs. just observing...which was the lie put forth by Mitch.

To say nothing of the fact that on duty firemen, fire stations and NOPD were standing down during this stupidity...potentially putting citizens at risk.

Think of the lawsuit they would have had if they were hurt while moving the statues...
