However, anybody that feels confident in O is only doing so because it's someone other than Miles.

Other than that, there is absolutely no reason to believe that this was a good hire.

I'm confident in O because of the way the LSU team looked and played after he took over. And that was with a TE's coach running the offense. Now the only Broyles Award candidate on offense in the nation last season is the offensive coordinator of LSU.

Dave Aranda was already the defensive coordinator and has signed an extension.

The #1 recruiter in the nation last season = Tommie Robinson was brought in as Asst. Head Coach/Running Backs/Recruiting Coordinator.

there is absolutely no reason to believe that this was a good hire my arse. If your not impressed with the moves Coach O has made you are in a very, very small minority.

Has Ed orgeron ever had any head coaching success WITHOUT the interim tag?
Has Ed Orgeron ever proven he can formulate a defensive gameplan?

We didn't beat a team with a pulse of a run defense after O took over and we scored a total of ten points in two homes losses against teams who could handle the LSU rushing game. The bowl win was nice, but it came against a team who ended their season with four losses.

O might turn out to be the best hire ever made at LSU, but there is NOTHING in his coaching resume to show him worth this massive gamble on the part of Alleva.
