Coach Orgeron took over at USC and guided them to a 6-2 record after boy wonder (Kiffin) was fired. Orgeron was in the running for that job but Pat Hayden being the genius he is followed his disasterous Kiffin hire with the hiring of Steve "the drunk" Sarkisian.

Wow i never knew that ive been running programs my entire life.
If you think not choosing coodinators, not choosing schemes, not running the offense, and not running the defense means he is running a program then i have been running programs since my birth.

He was chosen to be interim head coach at those stops because 3 of the 4 coordinators at those places were in their 1st year( 4 games) at those jobs.

He ran the USC program a hell of a lot better than the guy they had just fired. Why couldn't the guy who some idiot LSU fans wanted as head coach not have success with the program while choosing coordinators, choosing schemes, running the offense and not running the defense???

Why is that? Maybe Coach O's method of running a program is much greater than his predecessor's.

Do you still have the email from the Athletic Directors when they told you this. Whether pure luck or well thought out action, both USC and LSU made the correct decision with Coach O.
