Doctors should really have no power in what a person takes only as a consultant. After that voluntary consultation an adult person should be able to go down to walmart and buy whatever they wish ( prescription drugs would get real cheap real fast) if we lose a few junkies so be it, freedom has downsides.

I'll agree to that, provided those same people are forbidden from coming to the hospital for ODs, side effects, or drug-related accidents/traumas.
