Don't you think in a free market society that someone could challenge this? I am sure both the teams and the NFLPA would be against the move. The NFLPA because it is like a union and if you have yet to pay union dues, they will fight you. The teams would fight it as it threathens their control of the slaves.
Wonder if Al Davis (while he was alive) ever thought of taking a shot and stealing some top flight players before the draft?

Sure you could. But you would ruin your career because the NFL would colude against you in order to protect their cheap labor system.
Not to mention it would take half a decade to get a decision in a case like that and a ton of years of appeal

I know you're joking, but how is the NFL any different than a company that puts a want-ad in the paper saying "some college required"?
Employers have a right to have basic stipulations applicants have to meet before being considered
