I just bought my nephew who is a truck driver a van, flat bed, and lowboy.
He been staying busy doing specialty equipment loads for the oilfield.
His flatbed he hauls hay to the Midwest during the fall and winter.
His truck stays running which was a different story a year ago.

It's times like these Inam thankful I am no longer in the brokering business with CH Robinson. When capacity tightens up all those guys you low balled in the last get their turn to kick your teeth in. I would throw down two cans of red seal a day back then.
Worst was having 60 ft truss loads that you bid on a year earlier. OD freight gets real pricey when things get tight.
